The Fee Includes
Program with Maureen Murdock; a complimentary copy of The Heroine’s Journey Workbook; Thursday dinner, Friday lunch, Saturday lunch, and breaks. A $10 Breakfast Voucher will be given for each night of your stay at Hotel Santa Fe to be redeemed in Amaya, the hotel’s restaurant.
The Fee Does Not Include
Round trip airfare to New Mexico, ground transportation to and from the airport/Hotel Santa Fe, hotel accommodations, and Friday/Saturday dinners.
Covid Protocols
In order to keep everyone safe, proof of vaccinations including boosters is required to attend this workshop. Please bring your vaccination card with you. We'll follow the hotel's policy regarding wearing masks inside meeting rooms and will send updated information on this to all registered participants in advance of the workshop.
Registration
Space is limited. Register early! Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 50 participants.
To register, click on the REGISTER button, complete the form and make your payment. The full fee of $450 per person is due with registration. You will be sent a confirmation email within a week of registration with detailed information to help you plan your trip.
You may pay by credit card securely online or by sending a check (preferred) payable to Toni D’Anca at 1015 Orilla del Mar #3, Santa Barbara, CA 93103 USA. If you are registering for two people, please use two separate registration forms. If you are registering for yourself and anticipate having someone attend with you, be sure they register now before the program fills and closes or they will be put on a wait list. We must have formal registration forms and payment from both participants.
Cancellation and Refund
Registrations are not transferable. All cancellations must be made in writing and received by February 28, 2022 for a full refund less a $50 processing fee. There is no refund for cancellations received after this date. If you leave the program for any reason, there is no refund for unused services. If the program is cancelled or postponed, we assume no responsibility for participant’s cancelled air tickets or other prepaid transportation arrangements.
Should the program require rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances, all registrations will be moved to the new dates. Cancellations will receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee.
Location and Accommodations
Northern New Mexico is a high desert landscape with very dry air and high altitude. Albuquerque is approximately 5,000’ and Santa Fe is approximately 7,000’ above sea level.
The workshop will be held at Hotel Santa Fe, 1501 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, NM 87505. As the only Native American-owned hotel in downtown Santa Fe, the hotel offers you a relaxed yet deeply reverent immersion into the art, architecture, music, and language of the Pueblo people. The hotel has a full-service spa, an outdoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center, the Amaya Restaurant, a bar/lounge, free self-parking onsite, and complimentary hotel shuttle service within a mile of the hotel. These rooms are held for our group at the special rates below until February 28, 2022. Be sure to mention Maureen Murdock Workshop to receive the special rate. Reservations received from March 1 through March 31 will be accepted on a space and rate-available basis. Check in is any time after 4:00 pm and check out is by 12:00 noon.
Reservations are guaranteed only if accompanied by one night’s room deposit by check, money order, or credit card. This must be received within ten (10) days of making the reservation. Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours prior to arrival or one-night’s deposit will be forfeited.
A limited number of Suites are reserved for our participants. The special rates are also available 3 days before and 3 days after the workshop.
Hotel Santa Fe Suites are available at the special rate of $139 per night plus tax single or double. These suites have two distinct rooms divided by an open archway, with an oversize king bed in the bedroom and a pullout sleeper sofa in the living room. Each suite is furnished with handcrafted Southwestern style natural pine furnishings, granite bathroom countertop, two televisions, microwave oven, fully stocked minibar, in-room safe, cozy robes and slippers, and WiFi. Fresh coffee and tea are provided at 7:00 am on each floor.
Rooms in Hotel Santa Fe’s Hacienda are also available at these special rates: Hacienda Fireplace Room is $199 single or double and the Hacienda Fireplace Suite is $239 single or double. The Hacienda offers professional butler service, private key access, and premium amenities.
Hacienda Fireplace King Room are furnished with one king bed, a spacious tile and granite bathroom with walk-in shower, plush terry robes and slippers, and upgraded bath amenities. In addition to professional butler service, guests enjoy enhanced room features including a CD player, fully stocked minibar, coffee maker, in-room safe, humidifier, and Wi-Fi.
Hacienda Fireplace Suite features one king bed and a sleeper sofa, spacious tile and granite bathroom with walk-in shower, plush terry robes and slippers, upgraded bath amenities, and unique room features, including an iPad/iPod clock radio, humidifier, fully stocked minibar, in-room safe, coffee maker, and Wi-Fi.
Meals
Meals are provided to encourage ongoing dialogue and community exchange throughout the weekend. The hotel’s catering department and the restaurant, Amaya, offers fresh seasonal ingredients and local Pueblo and Northern New Mexican culinary traditions. Please indicate on the registration form if you need a special vegan, gluten free, or vegetarian meal or if you have other medical dietary restrictions.
Meals included in the workshop registration fee are: Thursday dinner, Friday lunch, and Saturday lunch. A $10 Breakfast Voucher will be given for each night of your stay to be redeemed in Amaya from 7:00-10:30 am. Friday and Saturday dinners are on your own so that you can enjoy the extraordinary culinary experiences Santa Fe has to offer.
Travel
Located in northern New Mexico, Santa Fe is served by the Santa Fe Regional Airport and the Albuquerque International Sunport. The Santa Fe Regional Airport is just 10 miles southwest of downtown. They provide daily flights from Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix on American and United Airlines. The Albuquerque International Sunport is 60 miles away. Both Airports provide car rentals and door to door shuttle services to Santa Fe hotels. Detailed information will be sent with your confirmation materials.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend travel insurance that covers the costs of emergency medical, trip cancellation/interruption, and cancel for any reason. More information will be sent with your confirmation materials.
Responsibility
By registering for this retreat, participants specifically waive any and all claims of action against Maureen Murdock, Toni D’Anca, and Hotel Santa Fe for damages, loss, injury, accident, delay, or death incurred by any person in connection with the program. No responsibility is accepted for losses or expenses due to sickness, weather, strikes, wars and/or other causes. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for any reason whatsoever to alter the schedule or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty. If the program is cancelled or postponed by us, due to enrollment level or other unforeseeable circumstances, all fees will be refunded in full. If the program is cancelled or postponed, we assume no responsibility for participant’s cancelled air tickets or other prepaid transportation arrangements.
